And then they got a 16 million Series A based on the success of their angel funded and early early stage investor funding.
And it probably cost them a few million dollars to get to that point.
But now, in addition to Sequoia Capital leading that round, Menlo Ventures, Anthropix Anthology Fund.
A bunch of others, smaller venture firms and individuals participating in that $16 million round.
Their seed in September 2023 was just $2.7 million, and they probably raised some other angel funds around that.
Okay, so they have this digital mind architecture.
And what makes them notable is that they already have some major players using them as the platform for their digital twins.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has a lot to speak about, not only with respect to his acting career, but he was the governor of California, right?
And he's a political figure.
So he's chosen Delphi as the platform.
The Harvard Business School has an initiative internal there called the HBS Foundry.
And on it now, utilizing the Delphi platform, you can talk to several of the professors.
It's new, and it's only available to alumni at the moment.
I can talk to one of my classmates who's now the head of the entrepreneurial department, Professor Tom Eisenman, who's also responsible for this AI initiative.
And I can have an interaction with him that doesn't know who I am, actually, but can pretend that it knows, oh, yeah, hey, Andy, good to see you again, that kind of thing.
But it's only been trained on his formal professorial publications.
And one of the distinctive features of Delphi is it doesn't share that data that's training your digital twin anywhere for model training or anything.
And it's also confining the responses to that corpus of data.
So you can't ask personal questions about Arnold Schwarzenegger and what was it like being married to Maria Shriver, right?
Unless he wrote something about that and it's been put into that system.
