It's using two different pieces, not dispatch, because dispatch is how I would talk to talk to cloud code from my phone.
And I have experimented with that and I didn't have a really great experience because on the mobile app.
Okay, so set aside the example.
Now I'm going to, how does Claude Code get closer to Claw by giving me through the mobile app for Claude the ability to have a persistent and continuous session that started on Claude Code or Cowork over there on my workstation.
And then I go outside and I'm walking around and I want to be able to continue the conversation in the Claude app on my phone.
Well, I can't.
I can do that.
But there's a limit that Claude admitted to, which is it's not showing me the full history of the chat.
I can talk to it, but I'd have to remember everything that was going on there or ask it to repeat that in order for me to see it on the mobile app.
So it doesn't give you, as you might expect, the full chat history that you already started in the Claude desktop app.
I thought it would repeat that over here because I have the app.
Why shouldn't it be just like the desktop app?
Yeah, but I think dispatch was supposed to kind of supplant the need to use remote control to talk to your cloud code instance.
That's the impression I got.
So anyway, it's missing that feature.
But Claude did say, you're right.
That's something that will probably come out later.
And that's the nice thing that I like about Claude, by the way, is I've often been frustrated by the inability of an A.I.,
to know details about its own capabilities.
And you've had this experience possibly with ChatGPT where you ask it about a newly released feature and it says, my pre-training ended on such and such a date.
