So Scott Hamer got in touch with me, and it's fair to say he wasn't happy.
He felt that royalty protection units
And his colleagues were being thrown under the bus because no one understood what this role is like.
So I offered him the opportunity to do an interview and eventually he accepted.
And it was quite a fascinating insight into what really is a very, very complex role.
I didn't really have any idea how it worked.
And this is actually the first time that anyone's actually gone on record to explain how this role actually works.
Yeah, that's how he described the role.
He said it's like an elastic band.
You're constantly reassessing and reevaluating what you have to do.
So, for example, if a principal, for example, if Prince Andrew says to him, stand down, he has to stand down.
And even if the owner of a private property says to the protection officers, I don't want you here.
Then they're going to have to do that, especially if the principal agrees.
Unless their principal is under immediate danger, then they have to stand down.
No, they don't.
And that's what he's saying about when Prince Andrew visited Epstein in 2010, when he was already a convicted paedophile.
I asked him about this.
