Actually, what he produced in De Profundis is a secular gospel, isn't it?
It's a religious text that isn't religious.
He's not setting himself up as a philosopher.
He's created something that is so original.
And the fact that it didn't solve all his problems, that he did end up... For everybody, every broken person out there, he is a kind of... He is a secular saint.
