ai persons right the teammates who will be a part of that system learning how to effectively oversee and manage and and and provide guidance and and enhancement to the inter-operation of all of those components that's a key skill i'm not sure where people are learning it the little blurb i read you about singapore saying it's not happening
in this problem the problem that's emerging is the less human capacity uh that's being retained the lesser human capacity is being retained and created by the loss of the of the sort of apprenticeship that you have when you get involved in a company uh that's going away
I want to weave off of this to Elon Musk's perspective, which is that robotics are going to replace almost all human work.
The combination of AI intelligence and embodied physical devices out there.
Work will become optional and there will have to be some kind of collective response to that change to the nature of our economy.
So that's twisting over to this bit of news, which is that Google DeepMind hired Boston Dynamics, former CTO, the head of all of their technology.
Boston Dynamics, as you know, is the company that builds the really skillful robot dogs and other form factors that exhibit really incredible gymnastic capabilities.
And so they're one of the leading robotics developers out there and have been around for quite a while.
They're not focused on humanoid robotics, but they do have their Atlas humanoid type robot, which is really good.
It's the one that can actually do a backflip, amazing skills.
Anyway, yeah.
DeepMind's CEO, Demis Hassabis, I'm not sure how to say his name exactly.
He has a vision for Gemini to become a sort of robot operating system and would be able to work across almost any body configuration of any kind of robot.
And that's similar.
We had a show about what the different approaches are to the strategy of robotic automation.
And anyway, Google DeepMind, clearly a leader, now possessed with one of the most capable platforms, you know, Google and Gemini, is taking the collective institutional knowledge of Boston Dynamics as held by its CTO, who is now the head of hardware engineering for Google DeepMind.
Well, at one level, that
of the, you know, the pendant or what was the name of the one that, the pin one that's- You mean pin?
You mean pin, that's right.
You know, at some level, those are in alignment with,
