Okay, thank you.
Yeah, so the mini straw, the smaller models come in three different sizes.
Three billion, that's small, right?
And that can run on a mobile phone.
Okay, so that's a pretty competent model that can run on a mobile phone.
Eight billion and 14 billion in variations like base and instruct, which is instruction following tuning.
And all of them have vision capabilities.
So you can imagine that Misdraw, the company, is moving toward device-based open-weight models that are capable of taking on vision like a vision language action model does, like seeing through your mobile phone or watching the screens on the mobile phone and making AI more accessible at the device level.
I do.
This just in.
The Financial Times reports today that Anthropic has hired Wilson Sonsini, a major law firm in Silicon Valley and elsewhere around the world, that was responsible for high-profile tech IPOs like Google and LinkedIn and Lyft, for example.
And they've hired them to pursue an IPO.
Now, that doesn't mean they're going to become a public company right away.
They are also simultaneously raising money in a private round that already has 15 billion committed by Microsoft and Apple.
So Microsoft and NVIDIA have both been great supporters of Anthropic, but this could be one of the very largest, when it does happen, it could happen as early as next year, let's say.
the Anthropic IPO would be a test of what the general investment community and the public interest is in investing in AI.
Anthropic doesn't have as large a profile as OpenAI does with the chat GPT mass of users.
And remember that they're doing a really good job at managing their
cashflow and their road to profitability by focusing on enterprise application of their coding agent, Claude Code.
So anyway, very exciting news that we may soon be able to invest directly in Anthropic in the public markets.
