Where were the New York City art school scenes shot?
Everything was shot at USC, the University of Southern California.
The classrooms were empty classrooms on campus that our set decorators dressed.
Even the dorm room was a USC dorm room.
The hallways, when Jim's watching TV in the common room, we were basically all on campus.
The only thing we didn't do on campus, and we talked about this last week, was when Jim and Pam are video chatting.
They recreated my dorm room on that warehouse set of Dunder Mifflin.
