Today we arraigned 63-year-old Richard Bellodo for the murder of Teresa Fusco.
And I said, okay, here we go again.
When her body was found, it was a shock not just to the Limburg community, but I think to all of Nassau County.
I was in college when it happened.
It changed the way we saw the world back in the 80s.
It changed all that, and not for the better.
Well, you remember it now, don't you?
I'd like to thank my investigators and my prosecutors handling this case for standing here with me today.
And after two decades of this case running cold, we have indicted Teresa's killer.
Today, we arraigned 63-year-old Richard Belodo of Center Moriches for the murder of Teresa Fusco.
Teresa's life was violently stolen from her more than 40 years ago.
He was living with his grandparents.
