One is that if your goal is to attract people,
your people to you either for collaborations or access to what they have or, you know, clients or whatever, right?
The best thing that I have found that I can do is show up like in my disgusting bathrobe that really literally could walk itself to the Mall of America from Oregon right now.
Those are the ones where people say to me from a brand building point of view, I know that you're authentic because you show up with your hair and your eyeliner under your face.
So that part works really well.
Like the people who it reaches, they're like, OK, she's for me.
And I'm like, cool, because if you're not down with that, I'm probably not your person.
There are a million people who know what I know and who do what I do.
If you want me to sit up straight and wear the black suits that I've worn for 33 years that I'm refusing to wear and I'm going to burn them, it's just the wrong girl.
So that part is really good.
But if you think still as a woman that you can show up not looking your best and get views, that's a different story.
We are not there yet.
I've run the A-B test.
On LinkedIn, if I am not in business mode, the whole face, the whole thing, the whole glam, I will not get views.
And so I stopped posting on there because I don't feel like post content that gets nothing because it's demoralizing.
And I'm trying to keep my spirits up about making content.
