So when I put my head down, I put my head down against the pole.
I said it, and then I looked underneath, and then as soon as he hit it, I watched the ball, I watched the flight, and I was like, no way, no way.
I wouldn't say it was much of a prayer.
I just said, bro, show me something.
Just show me something.
That was something where it was like, it's always going to be in my mind.
The home run, of course, but that moment.
I'm never going to forget that moment.
Yeah.
remember seeing it i didn't okay so we didn't know well i didn't know i didn't know if anybody else knew but i didn't know that he stuck his hand out i didn't know that oh yeah no i saw that yeah we can't see that like you know we don't have a tv around to see it um so we we were just like okay you know and then when it happened it was more of uh you know just get down there to basically you know basically have the same amount of number of guys on the field right like
You know, it's just protecting our teammates, you know.
And typically, you know, because I've been in a couple of bench clearings, so it's like, you know, me, you know, I don't talk.
I just watch.
You know, I watch people's hands.
I watch people's, you know, in situations like that, you know.
And I wait for something to, like, you know, kind of get moving and then kind of find a threat, really.
But, you know, typically in baseball, you know, there's a lot more to lose.
You know, it's not professional.
You know, and we're all competing.
We understand the magnitude of what we're doing and in the sense of like playing in the World Series, what it means to both teams and both cities.
