Like it's just like you're comfortable all the time.
But then I went to one restaurant and I was like, I would never fucking come back here.
Like it was like one of those where you really have to be self-contained.
But I liked it.
It was, I mean, there was a bunch of different comics there.
We did shows.
They had bands play.
Like it was a fun, it was a fun weekend, but I have not been back.
He had said once he gets more joy from making the greeter at a Walmart laugh when he walks by than he does from killing in front of an audience.
Just that little joke he tells when he walks by someone brings him more joy.
The older I get, the more I feel that.
The more making some old person laugh with some offhanded comment who has no idea who you are is more fun than an audience who's primed and paid money who wants to come see the act.
That's true.
I only do.
I only have the one act.
You know, I've never had like, oh, this is like they're out of towners.
Let me change it up.
Like you see the movie.
And so I'll struggle sometimes at the improv, and it's like Chelsea Handler's crowd.
