He came in, he was narrowly confirmed, and he has been a lightning rod for controversy ever since coming in.
And this Atlantic article, this magazine article that was posted on Friday, making allegations that he was regularly intoxicated, sometimes was missing in action, they couldn't locate where he was.
Other times showed big swings of paranoia and anger.
This has been just the latest focus on Patel and the job he's doing.
And yeah, he is lashing out now back at the Atlantic.
Yeah, he's making a big promise on something that Donald Trump and his supporters care about considerably, the allegations of 2020 election fraud.
Now, he said he was going to sue The Atlantic, and he has since today apparently filed the paperwork to sue The Atlantic for $250 million.
We'll see how that goes.
But he also promised that there's going to be some sort of indictments on election fraud.
So this is either
They have something and they're going to run with it.
Or this is him trying to show Donald Trump that he's working on something.
He shouldn't be fired.
He's valuable to the team and don't replace him now.
And I guess we'll just have to wait and see which of those two options it is.
Has he done anything useful?
Right.
And the crime rate is down.
It had been dropping going into Donald Trump's presidency, but it has come down even more since Donald Trump became president.
And there have been some very high profile arrests of people who were on the FBI's top 10 most wanted list.
