Last month, in similar lawsuits based in Washington, D.C., a judge found it was too early for an emergency ruling that would block parts of an order that the Trump administration has not carried out yet.
Democrats are now appealing that judge's decision.

Eligible voters in Illinois can still register in person at election offices through the last day of voting for the statewide primary on March 17th.
And in Indiana and Ohio, April 6th is the last day to register in person or online.
That's also the postmark deadline for anyone registering by mail.
