But I suppose there's always little bits like that.
But I think when it came to my knee, it was more so just about building confidence and whether it was, I don't know, doing a drill where...
I'd do my tackle shape and not even hit anyone, but just go into a tackle profile and someone just grabs a bag and hits my knee.
Because it's just, I suppose, telling your brain that it's fine.
Like, I suppose, when you get it surgically repaired, it's not going anywhere.
Yeah, I think for me, it was just confidence in my preparation because like I do quite a lot of visualization or like prep, whether it's an assist or whatever it is.
And I suppose like that's what gives me confidence.
So I just kept honing in on that.
Probably not teach, but Sean Ryan, when he first came in as our cultural lead, kind of spoke about it a bit because he comes from a bit of a military background and he spoke about how, for example, if they had a gun, you don't always just get given a gun to practice.
So it's like, how do you practice if you don't necessarily have that bit of equipment?
So that was kind of something that stuck with me and I was like, yeah, if I don't have...
if I don't have a full team to be able to run through a move, it's like, how do I nail my role in this kind of move?
Or how do I nail my tackles when I'm going in?
And then like worked a lot with Hugh Hogan on it.
And yeah, it was kind of something that just stuck with me because like I could see improvements then when I went into training because it was like,
The things that I'd imagine like they they happened in training or I stopped it from happening or whatever it is.
And yeah, I suppose it's like you've been in that scenario without having technically been in that scenario, if that makes sense.
uh sometimes different different ways yeah like um if it's like so tackling or tackle tech I'd sometimes just do it as as if like I don't know if if someone was to run towards me and like I'm just seeing what they do or that kind of thing and if not like sometimes if it's a move um depending what the move is like I might see like how how better I could do it if if I was looking down on it or like I just video it and and see what kind of little bits I can get better at whether it's
I don't know, foot placements or foot patterning or, I don't know, body positioning.
Like it's all little tweaks that you can make and then come when you're on, oh my goodness, when you're on field then, it's just like you've been there.
