The earliest Muslims actually did teach that the sun literally, at the end of the day, goes and sinks into a murky or muddy or hot spring, and then goes somewhere and prays and worships to Allah and asks to rise again, and Allah says, alright, you can go and rise.

And so then it comes and rises.

This is literally the word that the Quran, the world that the Quran describes.
