I don't think it's going to be over 740.

The thing about any projection on him is like it's going to be low because he had a lot of minor league swing and miss.

And like every projection system hates when you strike out a lot in the minors and when you whiff a lot in the minors.

And they love the guys who don't do that.

Yes.

And sometimes that can lead to an over projection on Davis Schneider.

Perfect example.

right?

Like that, you see every projection on David Schneider is pretty high because like, yeah, in the minors, like he made contact or didn't swing much at all.

Kind of like he is right now.

Um, so yeah, I do think like the projection on Pinyongo is always going to be kind of light, uh,

um but like it must be said he is whiffing less in the majors than he was in the minors and that's not typically what happens the pitching is a lot better up here as you see when the blue jays are bringing in triple a relievers and things aren't going particularly well uh so i i do like we do have to like hold our horses a little bit with look it's a guy who's a month into his big league career davis snyder looked amazing a month into his big league career we all remember him at fenway park so

Not trying to rain on the parade, but it is possible that that swing and miss comes back.

It is possible the league figures out like where Pignango's weakness is and starts trying to exploit it.

So just the fact that there has been that much whiff in the minors does suggest it's very possible that it does crop up again.

I mean, the projections aren't... Look, all models are wrong.

Some are useful, right?

So the projections, like, they might not... He might be an outlier in them, right?

So I'll say this, like Nathan Lucas is going to be coming up to Toronto on Monday.
