When Nathan Lucas comes back, which could be as soon as Monday or Tuesday, I think likely you're seeing either Sosa being DFA'd or you're seeing Davis Schneider being optioned.

Here's the other part of it when it comes to Davis Schneider.

you're facing a lot of righties coming up.

Like you look at the starters that the Blue Jays are projected to face against the Marlins and Orioles.

It's like Jansen Junk, Sandy Alcantara, Uri Perez, Albert Suarez, Brandon Young, Kyle Braddish.

Like the only lefty anywhere in there is Trevor Rogers towards the end of the Orioles series.

Otherwise it's all righties.

So you're not really going to have a ton of playing time coming up anyway for Davis Schneider.

So like

If you wanted to take the opportunity to get him a mental reset at AAA, which he had last year and came back better for, this might be the window just because you are facing a lot of righties in the next couple weeks.

I will say Charles McAdoo, very interestingly, has begun playing second base of late.

He's played twice there in the last week.

I'm not sure if he's playing there again here on Sunday, but he probably is just because the Blue Jays are clearly trying to get him some run there.

And I mean, this is because the guy's got like an 823 OPS this year.

His OPS for the Bisons is second only to Hendrik Pignongo.

And he's got a bunch of homers and he really looks like he's made some serious strides.

Like if you looked at this guy early last season, I mean, he was about to go on the development list because things were going so poorly.

Like he'd gone super closed off in his swing and he had to go down to Dunedin and get in the hitting lab and like work on

a bunch of mechanical stuff but then he came back from that finished the season really strong gets his first taste of triple a this year and doesn't really have that adjustment period like he's been great so far so that's a right-handed bat that's a guy who's playing well um doesn't i doubt vladimir guerrero jr is going on the il but if he were i think that could do would be an option but even if he doesn't and if the blue jays are like look we're just not getting enough production from the right-handed bats in the bottom half of our lineup right now and

We're looking at going in a different direction from David Schneider, Leneen Sosa.
