So these are guys who are on pace right now for mid-70s, even high-70s appearances.

So there's going to be a tax and a toll to be paid down the line for this.

Louis Varland goes two-inning outings twice in a span of seven days with...

high-stress outings in between them.

You can't go to that well too often.

Remember, we saw the Blue Jays go to that well a lot with Jeff Hoffman last year, and it caught up to them.

So the Blue Jays need to take some pressure off the back end as well.

Otherwise, for a Blue Jays bullpen that's performed really well this month, this year, and honestly, if you look at the FIP and balls in play and all those kind of numbers, they actually ought to have gotten better results than they have to this point.

But that could turn around in a hurry down the line and you might go through a really thin stretch in a month or two just because like all of that workload tool adds up and rears its ugly head later.
