There's so much going on field level within three pitches of a ball game.

It's fascinating.

Yeah, he literally doesn't walk, guys.

You know, like, it's just crazy.

And the pitch that Sanchez got to, you mentioned that, you know, Sanchez has two doubles off of him.

It's like the ninth pitch of the plate appearance and it's a change up way below the zone and Sanchez goes down and like actually hits it pretty hard.

Watching a couple of the pitches, you've just got to tip your cap.

So that's like pretty high praise for the Blue Jays offense.

I would say probably their best like collective approach up and down the lineup that I've probably seen all season and maybe that's just recency bias and there's a better one in there but just considering like the degree of difficulty and the quality of competition and here's the thing like the Blue Jays for one reason or another raise their level against elite starters and I think they're able to do that just because they have so much bat to ball and they make so much contact so

Chris Black and I like pulled a bunch of these numbers for the broadcast on the day, like prior to the Skeeton start, like on the day he was pitching.

And we just looked at like, all right, Blue Jays versus elite starters.

So this year they faced like Otani and Mizorowski.

They had Schlittler.

the other week.

Jose Soriano twice, Joe Ryan, like they faced a lot of these guys.

Yamamoto, and we just like pulled all those numbers, saw how those guys did against the Blue Jays and then how they've done against the rest of the league.
