This is not going to be a presentation on how I said, oh my gosh, I got like two partners and I hockey stick to a billion dollar unicorn status.
My numbers are probably one of the least impressive numbers you're going to see at the conference.
But to us, there's a big story that happens here and we're super proud of it and super excited about it.
And I'm going to share with you how our company kind of changed and iterated and now has $3 million about in bookings and renewals for this next coming year.
So we're all excited.
So let's start with just knowing your customer.
TaxTaker started as a white label solution for accounting firms.
We do government tax credits for growing companies nationwide.
We started this company because
A few years ago, legislation improved for startup companies and small businesses to better benefit from government tax credits, namely the research and development tax credit.
So you might have been getting spammed or maybe have used some of my competitors.
If you're on Twitter, you know who I'm talking about.
And basically, companies can get a ton of money back for every dollar they spend on development.
