I was reading this book, The Hard Thing About Hard Things.
And I think the way Ben Horowitz explained it is very similar to what mine and Tito's relationship is.
Where your relationship can go in one and two ways, right?
You can get so complacent about each other that you don't find value in the relationship anymore.

And our relationship was the latter.
Tito calls out something wrong in my thinking every single day.
And the truth is, that's what works in our relationship.
That's what makes me a better person because I have this person who I trust, who is challenging me on every decision I make.
My answer is not very different from Tito.
I think what I would say is, firstly, let's assume it's a good idea, right?
If it's not a great idea, then I would ask more questions and try to understand it.
But if it is a good idea, I would say don't protect the idea.
Do the next thing, which is go stress test it.
Just get moving.
In a startup, a moving ship is easier to steer.
It's more expensive to not move forward and make decisions than to wait to make the right one.
So I would be like, get going, dude.
