In the book, it is very much like Edward is forcing her to get married.

She is not in any way, shape, or form into this.

At one point, during their romantic night together, where it's supposed to be romantic, but holy shit, it does not.

It's supposed to be romantic.

and it's like just the way that she's thinking we'll get there oh my god she says like she's they're talking about it they're talking about like you know like they're talking about like the whole thing of like you're gonna you know are you gonna agree to turn me are you gonna follow through on your promise kind of thing and she he says at some point he like finishes she's like oh and now all of a sudden i'm and he says you're engaged
