Because they were like, oh, she's dead.

We killed her.

Like, that's how little they cared.

Nice.

And what she does is she ends up getting turned by Carlisle, who comes across her.

Bleeding in the street.

And in the book, she's met Carlisle.

Carlisle is the town doctor.

Okay.

And she doesn't like him.
