Now, a lab tech, Brenda Dippel, was called in to take a sample of the blood.

And it was sent to the Georgia State Crime Lab to be to be tested.

Steve Cartwright, one of the homicide detectives on the case, said he had never seen anything like this during his 10 years on the force.

And he went on to say that he said it was an extremely strange situation.

I'm guessing it was an animal.
