Because you have to make it a practice.
and I think gratitude is so key but how did you start actually did you keep a journal what was your I started keeping a journal but I don't have the ability to like stick to anything so it became something that I just had a really strong inner monologue about and really forced myself to like example today I'm coming here there's a seven minute on my google maps I somehow end up on the equivalent of the Sydney Harbour Bridge which is the opposite way to work
So I'm passing work over the side of the freeway.
I can see the building and I'm looking 13 minutes now.
So I've added, you know, 10 minutes of my journey.
And do you know what I do now?
And I believe it.
It's like, okay, well, that's happened for a reason.
Thank God I took the wrong turn.
Maybe I was going to run over someone's dog had I gone the other way.
And I believe it.
I'm like, yeah, there's a reason that I've taken the wrong turn.
And had I run over someone's dog, I would have thought, oh man, or worse, I would have thought, oh God, I wish I hadn't been in such a hurry.
I wish I'd, you know, anything but running over the dog.
But now I have this attitude of like, well, there's a reason I've made this mistake.
And I'm just going to believe that...
whatever's happened has happened for a reason.
And I'm grateful that that dog is still alive.
