And then there was this allegedly this cover up and this clean up that went underway to dispose of her body.
That's what we've been learning more about is
who was involved in that cover-up of what happened to tracy and who knows what happened as well to tracy were they able to confirm that the blood was tracy's no it was inconclusive and that was back in 2001 we don't know if the blood has been tested since yeah we know that there are advancements in dna technology and the way that police um test these types of samples
We're not privy to that information.
It's strongly believed, though, that it was Tracy's blood.
It just is inconclusive as to 100% whether it was or not.
But the fact that they found this blood and it wasn't just, you know, in areas that could be put down to, oh, that was a shaving accident or something.
It was on the ceiling, wasn't it?
It was on the ceiling.
Yeah.
And very small amounts.
Right.
it couldn't be seen by the naked eye.
It was, it was forensically found in a forensic search, but which is one of those things that we, you know, Tracy's family wants that those samples retested.
We don't know when the last forensic review was done on Tracy's case, but.
The informant or several informants have told police and told Tracey's family that Tracey was shot dead in this bathroom and then there was this effort to dispose of her body in the Blue Mountains.
A very chilling case and her body has never been found and it's been 33 years since she disappeared.
Do we know why?
I have asked Sharon this and she's, I think, as perplexed as anyone.
She puts it down to a dysfunctional family.
