He was questioned at a police station in and around 2005.
This is just prior to Tracey's inquest.
And he had no knowledge apparently of Tracy.
He denied knowing her.
He said that he lived a colourful life as a bikey and his use of drugs had affected his memory and he said he had no knowledge of Tracy and even knowing her.
Yeah, and that's one of the tragedies of her case was the loss of crucial evidence because of the time lapse.
And I'm not being critical of police because, as we know, there was a delay in reporting her missing.
But certainly there was also a delay in the gravity of the situation that they were dealing with and the seriousness of it, that this wasn't a woman who had just wandered off and decided to start a new life.
It was pretty clear that the people around her were not cooperating.
They weren't revealing what happened to her.
no one that should have been reporting her missing did report her missing in the sense that the people that were close to her at the time.
Living with her.
Living with her, her boyfriend at the time, even and her former partner who was the father of her young child, you would think,
alarm bells would have been going off for him as well thinking where is the mother of my child especially when we know she's a devoted mother so if when she doesn't turn up to see her kid exactly so there are answers that um only the people involved can answer and we we haven't got any clear answers from them you mentioned an inquest that was held in 2006

but there wasn't enough evidence to charge him.
And he was deported from Australia back to his homeland, Scotland, in 2004 after a violent couple of years or almost a decade in Australia, which included encouraged to murder.
A charge which involves a plot to murder someone, and that was foiled.
But that was one of the charges, break and enters, theft, passport, you know, faking passports.
A very, very dodgy bad guy was Jock McKenzie.
