The standard of America is predicated on a certain type of intelligence.
A lot of times it's a regurgitative intelligence with your ability to... No critical thinking.
Yeah, taking information and spit it back to you.
But my dad being from Brownsville, my aunt lives in Bed-Stuy still.
Those neighborhoods, it's like, even when I was a kid, I was a true 10-year-old.
And my 8-year-old cousin was, like, way more mature than me.
Because, like, they're just living a different life.
It's a different life.
It's like, if you're going to be outside, you got to be able to handle yourself.
And this is a wild place to live.
You know what I mean?
