Disrespect athletes outside of the realm of the game for engagement.
So like if you want to criticize.
Vandal would feel disrespectful or just a fan.
Yeah, but fans have always been disrespectful.
Cam Johnson and Ben Simmons were on a podcast recently and they spoke about that, about how you could even win a game
and still get cursed out by a fan because they didn't hit their parlay.
But what I'm talking about is like in the media, athletes don't have it.
Like you may not like what someone has to say about how you played a certain night, but if you're criticizing the numbers and the stats and logistics and like what happened within the realms of the arena or the field,
You may not like it, but you can't argue against it.
Where it becomes contentious and where athletes have the issue is that sometimes most of the time it doesn't stay within the realms of the game.
It's, oh, he was out partying last night or, oh, it's calling Anthony Davis street clothes or whatever.
Things like that is what gets under their skin because your job isn't to chastise me like that.
Your job is to critique what you can measure.
is unfair, and I think that a lot of media entities and personalities don't always follow those parameters, and that's where the contention lies.
