So my question is... Basically, how do I set some boundaries with my in-laws and have them respect the grandparent role? Or is this a me problem? And if so, how do I work through it?

Um, maybe his parents just feel like they are able to be way, way, way more involved than whereas my parents are involved, but they kind of take a step back and let us do our own thing and only give advice or recommendations.
