I mean, I don't remember much of it, but it's a great album, isn't it?
Well, yeah, I guess, you know, I could say that about Prince.
Yeah, I got to see Prince a few times as well in my adult days.
Saw him at the O2, the first show when he did the O2.
Spent all my tour money, all my tour wages on getting me and my girlfriend at the time front row tickets when he had the symbol as a stage at the O2.
Yeah, and I think it's also a way of them to separate themselves from the industry that was turning.
So it was basically an industry like the movie industry at the time, which is basically everything's advertising, everything's marketing.
It's like that's how they stay true and not go crazy.
In these worlds, you make an album, you're on the road for a year and a half.
It's like you have to separate yourself from that.
And by calling yourself an artist, it's kind of a cool way to do it because you feel a bit like an outsider.
There used to be a lot of acoustic guitars around my house, like Spanish guitars.
So the strings were very soft and I wasn't afraid of them, but I knew whenever I picked it up, it didn't make sense to me.
