Yeah, and like the inside booklet of in utero is all like his dolls stuck together and sort of weird stuff.
Like I totally wanted to sort of be that guy.
It's like John Lennon said before Elvis, there was nothing like my household was, you know, as I described Prince, a lot of public enemy from my brother, Cindy Lauper, you know, Kate Bush.
And like my dad would be like Buddy Holly, The Beatles, you know, obviously Rolling Stones would be flying around, Beach Boys.
But then I remember I moved to the countryside and my neighbor who was, we started our first band together, but we met when I was six and he was eight and he played me Nevermind.
You know, I wasn't like into it straight away, but I remember thinking this is something that my brain has never heard before, processed or heard before.
And then later I heard Unplugged in New York through my cousin Val in Peru.
Yeah, it was just like a world that I wanted to live in.
And, you know, I thought he dressed cool.
I thought the guitars he played were cool and simplicity, which is something that Prince does as well.
You know, when you hear a Prince record, you can hear what all the instruments are doing.
And I thought it was so cool to have that within a tapestry of loudness and fuzzy and crunchiness.
You can kind of pinpoint everything and hear what everyone's doing without having to look at them.
Being out of your comfort zone, you know.
But, you know, we're thinking of something current and maybe I'm manifesting here, but I'm really loving Mercedes-Lucy's tiles.
