And we had a briefing.
Obama, I had known for a long time.
We were both the UChicago guys.
Michelle was way more famous than he was.
She had a big job at the university.
When he first started running for the U.S.
Senate, his people called me.
He has two daughters, and our oldest was in the same school as them, run by the University of Chicago.
And so I vaguely knew him as the dad from the birthday parties.
