When you go into the second 10...
you're dealing with a couple guys that you feel like could be good right away.
Maybe it's the Thinaman, maybe it's Vega Ioane, maybe it's Mansport Delaine.
I think after that, it's like, I don't know if this guy's going to be good.
I don't know if this guy's going to be healthy.
I don't know what position this guy's going to play, but he's the best player available.
He's whatever, the athlete, whatever.
And I think that's kind of why everyone has kind of talked about this draft class as maybe not being a good one.
It's because the blue chips run out quick.
And then when you get into some of these valuable positions in the middle of the first round, we're like, I know I need to be taking a pass rusher.
I know I need to be taking a tackle or a corner.
It's like, buddy, it's not that deep in the first round.
After McCoy, after Delane, you're starting to scrape a little bit.
After Fanu is already off the board.
You're starting to scrape a little bit of tackle right away into your offensive line.
It's Vega.
So I do think that this draft in the middle parts, that's why I think there are going to be teams kind of clamoring maybe to trade down.
If there's a team lower, that's maybe overconfident in their own evaluation of one of the top receivers in this class or one of the top corners, whoever it is.
I kind of want to lay out the resume first for those who don't know about Jesse Mentor.
So he was with the Baltimore Ravens from 2017 to 2020, overlapped with Mike McDonald there.
