I mean, it's just phenomenal.
Honestly, like it's like literally because like we'll talk to we'll talk to the, you know, the veterans that have received dogs in the past.
And they say, you know, it's changed my life.
Like it has saved my life a lot of times.
I remember we had one local Chicago veteran, Matthew Delegato, who last year told us a story about how it really hit him, how much his dog Zave had changed his life when his daughter said, and this is a quote from his daughter, Daddy's not angry anymore.
Right?
And they just get better sleep because their night terrors get limited because whenever they move in a certain way at the night, these dogs are trained to...
either like lay on top of them nudge them to wake them up or or put their entire weight on them just so they can feel that relief and it it's truly remarkable and it's yeah like melissa said it's like fifty thousand dollars to raise for a dog and we're just trying to get as close to that as we can this isn't any just normal training this is serious training for for life-changing vets who have just suffered for so long a lot of vets say that they don't even realize they need it until they get a dog
So it doesn't end.
We've talked to some veterans that are on their second, third, even on their fourth service dog by now.
Because the dogs, they eventually retire and they eventually go out of service.
And the fact that America's Vet Dogs is kind of there for the veteran throughout the entire span is truly remarkable.
I'm just curious.
What kind of pups?
Yeah, what kind of dogs are they?
That's a great question.
Labradors, very common.
Beautiful.
I don't think my 12-pound dog, Coop, would do much help.
Our dogs would be terrible service dogs.
