I think we got a little bit too confident in that and saying that, Hey, there might be 20, 25 first rounders, first round grades in this draft class.
I do think this class in particular, cause it was kind of called a week class.
I don't think we really know.
I think it's kind of always in that same area for the most part.
I know that there's going to be anomalies, but I do think it's an easy thing to point out.
Like, oh, this is a weak class, so we can't go there.
Dave Bruber at The Athletic, he had the same amount of first-round grades as he did last year.
So it wasn't that different.
And I would assume those skills changed
Like, a first-rounder is a first-rounder.
That doesn't change depending on your draft class.
So I think that it does give us a little bit of, like, leeway or, like, an excuse, if you will.
But in general, I think it's about right.

were first rounders, right, that were selected in the first round.
So it's one of those things where I think we got a little bit better, but I do think it's a little bit too much of a crutch now to where, like, I think there could be plenty of good players here.
I don't think it's that different than last year.
