I thought about making that a nice radio tease, but I just couldn't do it for the people.

I just couldn't do it because I would think multi-year extension.

I was thinking a multi-year deal with the Pirates.

You teased the fans out there.

We could have teased a whole commercial intermission.

And I feel like other people might do that.

And I just didn't have the heart to do it because I also want Griffin to sign a multi-year extension.

And I was that kid many years ago where you'd hear, Connor Griffin has signed something.

And I'd be sitting by the radio and then very disappointed to find out that it wasn't a multi-year extension.

So I couldn't do that.
