There's no 6061 and there's no plastic.
As far as I know, we're one of the very few, maybe one of the only three that are doing that.
Most of them are using 6061 components.
um, for latches and wings or plastic, um, which again, great for costs, but just not something that we're interested in doing.
Um, it's a, it's an overbuilt product for a premium end user.
Um, so we, we know what our, what our customers kind of demand.
Yeah, I mean, that's a great question.
I'll give you the best example that I can give you.
So a lot of departments, or excuse me, a lot of OEMs have switched over to our handle for a couple of reasons.
So one of them, one of the biggest things that DD is actually a fan of our handle is the lack of marring that the charging handle makes on the lug where your charging handle latches into your upper receiver group.
And there's a reason for that.
We actually designed the latch geometry such that whenever the latch is going back into battery, it is a much easier transition versus some kind of straighter geometries that actually want to kind of chunk on it.
But I think more of what you're asking is around caliber specific stuff.
So the best example of this is actually the Ruger S4.
It's a small framed AR-10 S4.
platform rifle so it takes ar-15 charging handles but is chambered in either 308 or 65 they might have more calipers um so there's a there they have adjustable gas blocks on them they come from the factory with adjustable gas blocks and if you suppress the the s-far without adjusting the gas block from the factory you will blow your factory charging handle out in three shots
It will actually bend.
The latch will elongate along the stem and eventually will break off.
So that's something that we've seen.
And we had a customer that actually put one of ours.
