If it's slick, it's not a great quality of type of type three.
It could still be type three, but it's not a great quality.
Uh, you want the anodizing to, um, you, excuse me, you want the pre bath to acid etch the metal.
to the point that the anodizing actually takes the porosity of the metal away.
When you have that slick surface that you see, it's just a layer coating.
It's purely on the surface of the metal and is not actually embedded itself into the metal like anodizing is supposed to.
So that's a hint for some of our viewers.
If you ever have a part that's type 3 anodized, but it's very slick and shiny, it's not the highest quality of anodizing.
Yep, you're 100% correct.
It's almost just a lighter nitriding.
Nitriding will increase a metal's rock well by about three to four times.
Rock well is a measurement of hardness, and anodizing is a little bit lighter than that, but still you should see a significant rock well increase of a product that's anodized.
If you're not seeing that, then the anodizing is not leaching into the metal like you're saying.
So that's 100% right.
Yeah, that's awesome.
It's rare to find folks that know anodizing is a really cool process, right?
It's an incredible process.
Yeah, so this is actually an older product that is derived from our original storefront days.
So we created, or excuse me, my business partner created this many, many years ago, and it was something that we just kind of adopted to throw on the website.
We sell it in store at our range, or his range, rather,
