Yeah.
And the guy in his deathbed was weird about it.
Like, oh, did you do this?
And I was like, oh, well, I can't say if I did or I didn't.
So this is like, how many people have confessed to this?
It's like how when we joke about them doing the lie detector tests, right?
It's like some of those old cases relied upon that, which you can clearly game those things.
Which would have been better in this case than just the alibi.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And the whole, like, I just cannot reiterate this enough, the alibi thing.
It's like, and then that were proven to be just totally fabricated after a while.
Come on.
Like, stopping there and just saying, oh, whatever, that's fine, less work for me, is really kind of what this case screams like a little bit.
And then the motive that they just fabricated.
yeah this one is uh really frustrating and i think what happens in these cases too is often when there's no uh satisfying investigation that's when all the theories kind of start bubbling up to kind of fill the void of what wasn't done in the investigation so it just kind of gets all murky and we have like i think it's like kgb spies and and immunity and like i don't know not to say that isn't true because i think that that actually might be true but
that's what happens when the investigation isn't as thorough.
People try and fill in the gaps and then you just get lost in, in a million different suspects.
Yeah.
It was crazy.
