Of course, it's been a roller coaster ride, but overall, I really, really enjoyed it.
It's such a privilege.
As I said from day one, I knew we had a great bunch of people.
We got great people.
So it was really a matter of putting it together, working as a team, supporting each other, having a clear objective and strategy how we're going to move the team forward.
so every day honestly i'm learning something new and then it's every day is a challenge but in a good way it's brilliant i really enjoy but honestly only because of the people we got i think we're building a really a nice team here you say you're you're learning something every day what is the biggest lesson you have learned in two years of being a team principal biggest lesson
It's difficult to say because honestly, there's so many things, but I guess, listen, really, you know, because I feel like my job is a facilitator, you know, I'm not executing anything, right?
So we have a group of individuals, group of people who's really, really capable expert in each area.
But sometimes they cannot do the job to their best of ability or because of certain constraints.
But I need to listen to them, right?
They need to be able to tell me what's stopping them to perform better to go to the next step.
And I feel like my job is really to provide that environment so they can do an even better job.
So for instance, I think last two years, we managed to develop the car very, very well throughout the season.
That's one thing we really wanted to prove.
We knew we could do it, but before pre-24, let's say, you know, people are telling us that, you know, Haas cannot develop the car throughout the season.
You know, we proved that's completely wrong.
And then that gives us lots of confidence to the people.
But again, only way we managed to do it is really to empower the people, those technical people, then listen to them.
They need to tell me like, you know, why they couldn't develop it before.
Then when they told me, it was actually same as my understanding.
