Well, no, I didn't, but I thought it was just about spring.
The Bialtina Festival celebrates ageing and the arts and they have a series.
It's the last weekend in May and they have a series of events on mainly in the Project Arts Centre.
I'm chairing a discussion called Not Dead Yet, Intimacy and Relationships in Older
life, right?
I'm going to be talking to Rory O'Neill, who's Panty Bliss, Dr. Sabina Brennan, who you probably know, and Leslie Dowdall about that.
So it should be interesting.
It was in that context.
I was talking to somebody about it the other day and I was saying, you know, I was in school, as I said, nuns in the mid 70s and our sex education was delivered as part of our religion class by a nun.
Lovely.
And part of it was she had these charts, female anatomy, male anatomy, multicolored charts.
My job, again, because I was tall, was to hold them up.
I often joke is that way I got pregnant because I couldn't see the fucking chart.
I was behind just holding it up.
I had no idea what was going on.
Anyway, the one thing that I remember being taught.
And initially taking it on board until I kind of got a bit older and thought that's bollocks.
Yeah.
Was as young women, we were to be, they talked about heavy petting.
They were heavily into this talking about heavy petting and about being very careful as young women, not to take the boy to the place of no return.
