We had phone calls the odd time, you know, but nothing much.

And I was very protective of Carla as well.

Like I didn't want anything to happen that would make her feel, you know, that would disturb her in any way.

She always knew.

And I mean, like my other two girls always knew as well.

I always described our family as having started with me and Carla.

And then Paul came in and then the other two came along.

So the genesis of our family was different.

So they all knew about all of that.

But I was very protective of her when she was younger.

When she was about two, I was going on holiday with my parents to Lanzarote and he's from Tenerife.

And he had arranged to come over the weekend in the middle and he was going to meet her.
