People are getting used to us.

So they've had those five players come in.

Then the three most expensive of those have managed to start one game together because of injury.

Now, in part, you can say, if the ESAC deal had been handled better, if they'd done that earlier, then maybe some of these problems wouldn't have occurred.

They've also got the Diego Jota factor, which I think we shouldn't underestimate.

I think it'll be years before we begin to understand just what the impact of that was.

So there's a whole load of mitigating factors there.

I don't think Schlott's particularly helped himself, but equally... It's one of those things, whenever I'm watching Liverpool or whenever I'm with Liverpool fans, I sort of think, yeah, they're right, Schlott's got to go.

And then I sort of get away from that and sort of think about it.

Well, actually, there's loads of reasons why it hasn't really worked this season.

And given he did win the league in his first season, I don't think it was as simple as...

He just inherited Klopp's team.

I think he did do things with it.

Well, he took the temperature down, as Barney said.

And that's not an insignificant feat.

He probably does deserve another season, but I wouldn't go into that next season with any great confidence.

I don't dispute that Tottenham were much, much better than they've been for a long, long time in the Premier League.

And that is a positive sign for them.

And there does seem to be a fight and a spirit and a battle there.

And you've got to give Deserby credit for that.
