you know, that woke culture. How do you put meat on that? How do you create policy that, you know, furthers the aim of getting us back to that American dream? It's not a simple thing to do. And it takes a lot of leadership and a willingness to say, look, here's our first shot. Here's, you know, shot across the bow. We're going to try this. We're going to try that. So I think it's pretty cool.
And I think it's significant. And again, as with the gender EO, I think this is going to resonate with a lot of people who were Democrats, you know, two years ago, five years ago, 10 years ago, 20 years ago, maybe people who didn't even vote for Trump, but who feel like, you know, the left has gone too far. And I can't even tell you how many people have said to me, I didn't vote for Trump.

I couldn't bring myself to vote for him, but I'm very glad he won. I mean, my reaction to them is always the same. You coward. You You made other people carry that decision for you. You refused to put your money where your mouth was and just pull the trigger for the person you thought was going to actually fix the country. But this is what that looks like, I think, in effect.

Honestly, I'm not so sure that this is going to lose, but I think the reason this was... so smart was because my understanding is I'm not a legal scholar, but that the 14th Amendment was a response to the Dred Roberts case where basically the Supreme Court had ruled that Black people are not citizens.

And the 14th Amendment was specifically in order to address that and say, yes, our Black population were brought here against their will, but they are citizens of this country. And the reason that I think this was such a genius move is because it echoes that exact theme.

And of course, that's the history of the Democratic Party over the last 50 years, is that, you know, it's Black Americans who have paid the heaviest price for mass migration, you know, to the tune of, you know, 40% decrease in wages, 10% increase in mass incarceration. I the breakdown of the family. You could connect to this downward pressure on wages, et cetera.
