These are all things the U.S.
could have obtained by simply asking and not threatening our allies.
The only reason the rest of NATO would be willing to go along with it now is because they're hoping that after this ruinous escapade with another Trump term, we'll realize the error of our ways.
That is such a deliciously European belief.
When I lived there, I always loved how optimistic you are.
Here are the questions for the Trump supporters who might be getting ready to believe his framing when we finally see the concepts of a framework of a deal.
Is Greenland part of the US?
Was the banging of the war drums with NATO worth it?
And most importantly, is there anything in whatever deal finally emerges that Denmark had previously said no to?

So today, we're going to talk about Trump making NATO countries adversaries.
Yesterday, we touched on Trump's announcement that says he'll impose more tariffs on specific European countries unless the U.S.
gets Greenland and gave the overview.
But today, we need to get into the details because there's a lot here.
His announcement starts off with a bunch of normal Trumpian false grievances, and then it gets into the important foreign policy.
World peace is at stake.
China and Russia want Greenland, and there is not a thing that Denmark can do about it.
They currently have two dog sleds as protection, one added recently.
Only the United States of America, under President Donald J. Trump, can play in this game, and very successfully at that.
