Holligan delivered for the president by filing the exact baseless charges against Mr. Comey that her predecessor had rejected.

Comey released a video on Instagram in which he spoke to the country and said, quote,

My family and I have known for years that there are costs to standing up to Donald Trump, but we couldn't imagine ourselves living any other way.

We will not live on our knees, and you shouldn't either.

Somebody that I love dearly recently said that fear is the tool of a tyrant.

And she's right.

But I'm not afraid.

And I hope you're not either.

Soon, we'll get more and more information about the case, as well as, well, I assume, we'll see motions to dismiss soon that use Trump's social media posts to make their case.

Expect this to become a major story moving forward.
