So today, we're going to talk about Nome and Trump not wanting to use his catchphrase.
After events in Minneapolis and elsewhere, the United States Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, is facing heavy backlash and serious questions about her future up on Capitol Hill.
But so far, Trump is standing by her.
And that seems strange.
Trump's entire brand for years surrounded the catchphrase of, you're fired.
But apparently, sometime during his first term, he came to believe that every time he replaced someone, it encouraged the media and his political opponents to go after other members of his administration.
So, the rumor is that he adopted what was called a no-scalps policy, where he would reassign or promote people to other positions, but not fire them.
That being said, inside Trump's inner circle, Tom Homan being brought in to oversee operations in Minneapolis is a huge warning sign for Noem's continued position.
Beyond that, there's already a significant push on Capitol Hill.
Obviously, Democrats are lining up to try to push her out.
