A pair of special elections sent the same warnings about the midterms to Republicans that they've been getting ever since Trump started enacting his agenda and Americans started paying the price.

In New Hampshire, a special election for State House saw Democrat Bobby Bodeman defeat Republican Dale Fincher.

The election was for Carroll County District.

The seat was opened up after the Republican holding it resigned.

That person beat Bodeman by 13 points in 2024.
