Men used to wear high heels.
Like I wonder where that stopped or what happened there.
But when it comes to like, you know, the whole double standards when it comes to aging, it's like men are silver foxes and a man who is like 20 years older than a woman, that's just like a normal relationship.
A woman who's one second older than a man is a cougar or whatever.
Yeah.
And so I think like, I wonder if it like at some point when men stopped wearing makeup and it was like the pressures on women to maintain a youthful quote unquote look, that never really faded.
It's like, is that when women were kind of like seen as less, I really need to stress that all of this is in quotes, like less valuable as they age and men quite the opposite.
Do you know what I mean?
I'm like, is it chicken or the egg?
Were women kind of pressured to look a certain way and then this started happening?
It is interesting to know that men were kind of participating in this as well at a certain point in time.
Gorgeous.
Yeah.
I do think there is a pressure on...
And I think it's definitely possible for both to be true, that it does make you feel good and all this kind of stuff.
But really also when it comes to working, and I would always get this when I worked in an office, I was always, everyone would laugh because they said that I had, quote unquote, a uniform.
Because the other women, they would come in every day with beautiful new outfits.
Not always new.
They would recycle them, obviously.
But like maybe one you would see every fortnight.
